3 Nights 4 Days
Day 1: Mumbai – Aurangabad (335 kms / approx 8 hrs)
Arrival at Mumbai airport. Meet & greet by your driver & Proceed to Aurangabad. On arrival hotel check in & free time for relaxation.
Day 2: Aurangabad – Ajanta – Aurangabad
After breakfast proceed to guided tour of Ajanta caves – these are 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments which date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra state of India. According to UNESCO, these are masterpieces of Buddhist religious art that influenced the Indian art that followed. Return back to hotel.
Day 3: Aurangabad – Ellora – Bibi Ka Maqbara – Aurangabad
After breakfast proceed to guided tour of Ellora – it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Aurangabad. It is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, featuring Buddhist, Hindu and Jain monuments, and artwork, dating from the 600–1000 CE period. The Kailasha temple excavation also features sculptures depicting the gods, goddesses and mythologies. Later Bibi Ka Maqbara - The comparison to the Taj Mahal has often obscured its very own considerable charm. Due to the strong resemblance, it is also called the Dakkhani Taj (Taj of the Deccan). Return back to hotel.
Day 4: Aurangabad – Mumbai – Departure (335 kms / approx 8 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Mumbai. Tour concludes with happy memories.
